She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Walton and Osie Walton (McClung); her sons, Ronald Hedrick and Vernon Cook; and her siblings, Frances Osborne and Samuel "Jack" Walton.
She is survived by: her former husband James Lee Cook; her children, Carol Russo of Chetek, Wisconsin and Donald Hedrick; and her siblings, Vaden "Mac" Walton of Fredricksburg, Virginia, Elsie Carathers (Leon) of Covington, Virginia, Eldon Walton (Jean) of Covington, Virginia, Elmer Walton (Tammy) of Hopewell, Virginia and Elva Clark (Harold) of Covington, Virginia. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
