It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Lee Yoder of Washington, Iowa, born in West Liberty, Ohio, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Leonard Yoder and Mollie Yoder (Kauffman); his brother Dean B. Yoder; his grandson Keith Lane; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Eberly and Violet James Swartzendruber; and his stepson-in-law Mike Seibert.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Beason; his children, Cindy Lane (Larry) of Prospect, Sara Swartzendruber (Ron) of Kalona, Steven Yoder (Becky) of Monument, CO, Stuart Yoder (Connie) of Omaha, NE and Sonia Miiller (Jay) of Kalona; his stepchildren, Louis E. Koehler of Iowa City, Mary Jo Koehler of Washington, Karen Seibert of Delhi and Brian Koehler of Washington; and his sister-in-law Ellen Yoder of Littleton, CO.. He is also survived by 7 step grandchildren and a step great grandchild.
