She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph J. Kleese and Catharine Kleese (Coulter); her brothers, Robert and William Kleese; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Kleese, Karen Kleese and Glenice Larson.
She is survived by: her husband Garth Rustan of Washington, Iowa; her children, Tim Rustan (Diane) of Delray Beach, Florida, Carol Koegel (Chris) of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, David Rustan (Kate) of Kohler, Wisconsin and Mark Rustan (Kim) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Lindsay, Katie (Jenni Rustan), Cassidy Sweet (Coulter Koegel), Khloe (Maddie Rustan), Harrison and Grant (Hayden Rustan); and her brother Roger Kleese (Linda) of St. Michael. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Washington Community School Foundation or Hospice Compassus.
