He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold DeWolf and Vera DeWolf (Hesseltine); his daughter Sherry Dietrich; his siblings, Donald DeWolf and Betty Hootman; and his nephew Doug DeWolf.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra K. Griffin of Washington; his children, Bill DeWolf (Sue) of Mt Pleasant and Jennifer Miller (Duane) of Crawfordsville; his grandchildren, Skyler, Savannah, Dalton, Eric, Jordan of Jeremy, JD and Austin; his great grandchildren, Lawson, Quint, Brynn and Kinsley; and his siblings, Gary DeWolf (Helen) of Washington, Linda Glandon (Frank) of Oskaloosa and Connie Humston (Richard) of Washington.

A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
