It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Watson (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on February 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos H. Watson and Helen E. Watson (Bell); his former wife Beverly Ann Chalupa; his brother Charles; and his daughter Tina.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Kay Roth of Washington; his brother Keith of Pleasant Plain; his sons, Paul (Mary) of Riverside and Todd (Kate) of Texas; his son-in-law Peter Wiklund (Kathy) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Caitlin Ford (Craig), Chloe Doessel (John), Sydney (Abigail Watson) and Sophie (Hudson Wiklund); his stepgrandchildren, Seth, Morgan, Grace and Emma Schneiderman; and his great grandchildren, Claire, Owen, James Ford and Johnny Doessel. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mennonite Disaster Service.
