It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary N. Davis of Washington, Iowa, born in Montezuma, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Davis and Nina Davis (McMains); and his siblings, James Lyle Davis and Erma Schimmelpfenning (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Davis of Washington, Iowa; his children, Tim Davis (Rachel) and Kathy Shelman (Brian); and his grandchildren, Justin Davis (Alisha), Zach Davis (Shelby), Lindsey Davis (Travis Tedrow), Hannah Davis, Grace Davis, Bryce Shelman (Abbey), Brant Shelman, Brianna Shelman, Mitchell Drey (Emily) and Weston Drey. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
