We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2021, at the age of 80, Garth Vernon Rustan of Washington, Iowa, born in Spencer, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Rustan and Agnes Rustan (Johnston); his wife Harriet Kleese; his son Michael; and his sister Glenice Larson.

He is survived by: his children, Tim Rustan (Diane) of Delray Beach, Florida, Carol Koegel (Chris) of Moon Township, Pennsylvania, David Rustan (Kate) of Kohler, Wisconsin and Mark Rustan (Kim) of San Antonio, Texas; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Rustan, Katie Rustan, Jenni Lee (Derek), Cassidy Sweet (Zach), Coulter Koegel, Khloe Rustan, Mimi Rustan, Harrison Rustan, Grant Rustan and Hayden Rustan. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
