He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Herbert and Ruby Othmer (Mowel) of Virginia; his former wife Juanita Howard; and his brother Ted Othmer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Othmer of Washington, IA; his stepsons, Ron Kuntz of Washington, IA, Tony Kuntz (Robyn) of Washington, IA and Steve Kuntz (Anita) of Lodgepole, NE; his stepgrandchildren, Amber Rickeberg, Jeremy Kuntz (Teresa), Matthew Kuntz (Brianna), Joseph Kuntz (Krysta), Cody Kuntz (Abby) and Samantha Smith; and his siblings, Mary Jane Fridley (Bob) of Muscatine, IA, Leo Othmer (Joanie) of Davenport, IA, Barbara Cooper (Floyd) of Stronghurst, IL and Helen Harmon (Gary) of Muscatine, IA. He is also survived by 11 step-great-grandchildren.
