She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Merton Scalf and Lydia Scalf (Miller); her husband Don Dayton; her granddaughter Kaela Alecock; her great grandchildren, Kamari of Savanah and Riley of Savanah; her siblings, Evelyn Benninger (Bob) of Muskegon and Daniel Scalf (Linda) of Centerville; her son Jim Dayton; and her siblings, Louisa Stewart, Carolyn Peck, Iva Redlinger, Calvin Scalf, Doris Hayes and George Scalf.
