She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. William Bailey and Thora Marie Whittenberg (Johnson); her husband Marvin Lawrence Tweeton of Detroit Lakes; her son John Victor; and her siblings, Geraldine Powles, Victoria Ellison and William Whittenberg.

She is survived by: her sons, Dr. William Tweeton (Ann) and David Tweeton (Diane) of Washington, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Sue Tweeton of California; and her grandchildren, Aaron Tweeton (Elizabeth), Sarah Mazerik (Jimmy) of California, Michael Tweeton (Sheila) of Johnston and Dr. Daniel Tweeton (Kyle) of Washington, Iowa. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
