Eileen Buchmayer Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Buchmayer (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on April 26, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James M. Bixby and Sevilla Mae Bixby (Shafer); her son Nathan Buchmayer; her siblings, Martha Bixby, Eugene and Virgil Bixby; and her nephews, Jason Harper and Jimmy Unternahrer.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Buchmayer of Iowa City, IA; her sons, Phil Buchmayer (Norma) of Amana, IA and Greg Buchmayer (Tammy) of Iowa City, IA; her grandchildren, Kaylee and Kristy Buchmayer; her sister Darlene Harper of Iowa City, IA; her sister Evelyn Bixby of Washington, IA; her niece Stephanie Unternahrer; her sister Linda Krug (Dan) of Coralville, IA; her nieces and nephews, Steve Howard (Charla), Jamie Howard (Dawn) and Rob Howard (Lisa Santia); and also Kelley Fettkether (Josh).

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.

Memorials have been established for the Parkinson's Foundation.
