He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth L. Peters and Velma M. Peters (Stephenson). He is survived by: his wife Diane Peters of Washington, Iowa; and his children, Brett Dowell (Pam) of Mediapolis, Iowa, Michael Peters (Kim) of Fresno, California, Christopher Peters (Lisa) of Ashton, Iowa, Don Zaehringer (Jenny) of Columbus Junction, Iowa and Kelly Schnepper of Wilton, Iowa. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
