She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester A. Teetor and Bessie Teetor; and her brother Chester L. Teetor (Lana). She is survived by: her husband Randy Lotz; her son David L. Battin Jr. (Jill); her granddaughters, Bailey and Taylor; and her siblings, Marti Weber and Cindy DePuccio. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and countless friends.

“So sorry to hear of Edie's passing. I moved in 6th grade and had to switch from Hyde Park School to Kilgore in the 6th grade. Tough age to do that. She was one of the few that took me under her wing and offered her friendship. I have fond memories of playing volleyball in her backyard. Her mom cut my bangs ONCE . They were so short I cried all the way home . Later we laughed about it ...much later. We lost touch over the years but I will always remember fun times at Withrow and her kindness .”
