He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Grimm and Virginia Grimm (Leferink); his son Jeremy; and his brother Scott. He is survived by: his children, Amy Applegate (Lee) of Washington, Jamie Grimm (Rachel) of Center Point and Jason Grimm (Ashlee) of Conesville; his grandchildren, Cooper Grimm, Bailey Graber, Dallas Grimm, Drake Grimm, Abbi Dewolf (Levi Giese), Bryce Dewolf, Jackson Kane, Boden Kane, Levi Applegate and Dalton Applegate; his great grandchild Ellie Marie Giese; and his siblings, Steve Grimm (Deb) of Seattle, WA, Charlotte Mohror (Steve) of Columbus Junction, Mavis Murray (Mike Meuer) of Linden, WI and Todd Grimm (Nancy) of Ainsworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Doug.
