With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy M. Soucek (Washington, Iowa), who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Smith and Faye Forsythe Smith; her siblings, Garland Smith, Mary Ellen Marsden, Marcella Thompson and Floyd Smith; and her sons, Steve Soucek, Stanley Soucek and Doug Shirley.
She is survived by: her former husband Robert Paul Shirley; her husband Henry Soucek; her sister-in-law Dorothy Jean Smith; her children, Suzanne Riley (Richard), Gerry Soucek, Karen McGuire (Mark) and Jean Gloyer (Jon); her grandchildren, John Espinosa (Stephanie), Robert Toussaint (Emily), Tricia Toussaint (Nick), Vicki Soucek, Margaret Novak (Chris), Lindsay Meyer (Josh), Katie McGuire and Zack Gloyer; and her great grandchildren, Katelynn, Savanna, Bradley, Devin, Allison, Abigail, Hannah, Jordin, Justin, Emma, Skylin, Chase, Carter, Alora, Addison, Hazel and Millie.
