She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi C. Schrock and Vera Schrock (Gingerich); her husband James Leichty; and her granddaughters, Amy and Mikayla Leichty.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Schrock (Norman) of Kalona, IA, Loran Leichty (Chris) of Wayland, IA, Janice Hostetler (Lynn) of Kalona, IA, Brenda Roth (Tom) of Dorchester, NE, Barbara Jones (Ron) of Middlebury, IN and Edward Leichty (Amy) of Archbold, OH; her grandchildren, Aaron Schrock (April), Ryan Schrock (Sarah), Carmen Fernau (Joe), Katie Leichty, Erica Slabaugh (Frank), Tony Hostetler (Mary), Kerri Martin (Dylan), Reggie Hostetler (Payton), Darren Roth, Joel Roth (Kaylee), Ross Jones (Jenna), Andrew Jones (Brianna), Spencer Jones (Haley), Jessica Bixler and Parker Bixler; and her great grandchildren, Tori, Kenna, Levi, Leah, Ruby, Sadie, Noah, Micah, Beckett, Hayes, Collins, Paxton, Amos, Holly, Addie, Wyatt, Mia and Lily.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (122 E 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Bethel Church Cemetery (3185 Wayland Rd, Wayland, IA 52654). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (122 E 2nd St, Washington, IA 52353).
A memorial fund has been established for the First Baptist Church or the United Presbyterian Home.
