It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Cornelius (Washington, Iowa), born in Hamilton, Missouri, who passed away on May 25, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Shadduck and Elma Shadduck (Lester); her grandson Bradley Wayne Peitzman; her brother Paul Shadduck; and her daughter-in-law Alice Cornelius.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Cornelius of Washington, Iowa; her children, Dennis Cornelius of Sioux Falls, Connie Atwood (Chuck) of Washington, Iowa, Sheryl Peitzman (Lee) of Auburn, Indiana, Gary Cornelius (Karen) of Cumming, Iowa and Forrest Cornelius (Jan) of Cedar Falls, Iowa; her sisters, Ellen Whitmer (Gene) of Chillicothe, Missouri and Joy Larimer of Centennial, Colorado; and her sister-in-law Merle Shadduck of Peculiar. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
