He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Estle and Marie Estle (Hotz); his sister Mary Ann Ash; his brother-in-law Louis Ash; and his parents-in-law, Raymond and Frances Coon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Murphy (Joe) of Keota, Brenda Braun (Ken) of Ankeny and Debra Ayres (Scott) of Johnston; and his grandchildren, Brennan Murphy (Brianna), Keaton Murphy, Alyssa Braun, Aaron Braun, Jonah Ayres and Shane Ayres.
