It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald J Lawless (Washington, Iowa), born in Macksburg, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Lawless and Hazel Fern Lawless (Pinckney); and his siblings, John Lawless, Linda Murman and David Lawless.

He is survived by: his wife Jan Lawless of Washington, Iowa; his children, Jim Lawless of Brighton, Iowa and Kate Maria (Gene) of Savannah, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Elaina and Kai Maria. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
