He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Paul and Darlene Paul (Nichols); his wife Mary Ann; his son Steve Paul; his brother Don Paul; and his granddaughter Jennifer Peck.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Paul (Mary Kay) of Ft. Dodge, Iowa, Craig Paul (Leslie) of Washington, Iowa, Sharon Kleinau (Rich) of Washington, Iowa and Debra Brinkman (Ivan) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
