With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debra Kay Batterson of Washington, Iowa, who passed away on April 15, 2022 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale "Dude" Batterson and Virginia Batterson (Moothart); and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Ridley and Mark Goodwin. She is survived by: her son Spenser Fleming (Brittany Erickson) of Washington, IA; her granddaughter Akira Erickson Batterson; her siblings, Nancy Anderson (Rick) of Portland, OR, Becky Ridley of Mission, TX, John Waters of Lancaster, CA, Connie Wheelan (Tom) of Washington, IA, Holly Redeau (Charles) of Portland, OR and Rhonda Goodwin (Bub) of Washington, IA; and her close friend Brian Fort of Washington, IA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A general memorial has been established.
