She is survived by: her children, Jamie Helmick of Iowa City, Iowa, John Helmick of Des Moines, Iowa, Catherine Willis (Marshall) of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, Joshua Helmick (Jenny) of Danville, Iowa and Jaclyn Bernand of Burlington, Iowa; her grandchildren, Kel Helmick, Shelby Russell, Madison Helmick, Britnie Helmick, Ethan Bernand, Bethannie Bernand and Harlan Bernand; her boyfriend Dennis Andreessen of Corwith, Iowa; her sisters, Christy Coleman of Gosport, Indiana, Theresa Ford (Robert) of Columbus, Ohio, Machelle Arnold (John) of Chicago, Illinois and Rita Herrig (Gary) of Mason City, Iowa; and her pets, Kuki and Puff.
