With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Ford Sr. (Washington, Iowa), born in Franklin, Ohio, who passed away on December 6, 2020 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Gordon and Donna Belle Ford (Shonkwiler); his brother Douglas Dean Ford; his uncle Harold Shonkwiler; and his father-in-law Rev. Clarence Schirm.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Schirm Ford; his children, David Michael Jr. Ford (Gigi), Silas Wesley Ford (Anita) and Rachel Sue Hicks; his grandchildren, Ryan David Ford (Kelsy), Jordan Michael Ford (Charmion), Bradyn Neil Ford (Ravon), Morgan Lynne Ford, Chandler Ford (Kristen), Sidney Bree Ford (Jennifer) and Hayden Alan Hicks; his great grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Kellan, Chloe, Ares, Brilynne, Carter, Avery, Azai and Heath; his sisters, Diane Armintrout (Ed) and Darlene Coil (Pat); his sister-in-law Diana Ford; and his mother-in-law Annabelle Schirm. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of dear friends.
Facial masks will be required, and social distancing will be practiced.
