He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richards and Nellie Richards (Smith); his wife Louise Wilcox of Washington; his granddaughter Lisa Jones; his great grandchild Noah Novotny; his son-in-law Ron Bennett; his siblings, Robert Richards and Mary Wagamon (William); and his sister-in-law Helen Reschly (Jim).
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Havens (Randy) of Montrose, Colorado, Linda Bennett of Washington, Iowa and Kathryn Jones (Steve) of Iowa City, Iowa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
