He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Scheibe and Ellen Scheibe (Schenck); his sister Doris Bell; and his brother-in-law LaRoy Bell. He is survived by: his daughters, Kristin Scheibe of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Rebecca Ross (David) of Maple Grove, Minnesota; his granddaughters, Madeline Ross and Claudia Ross; his nephew Frank Bell (Sherry); and his niece Kathy McCray (Gary).
He was an active member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church where he served on the church council and served as the Chairman of the Washington County Riverboat Foundation Board.
