He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Wehr and Elanor Wehr (Schumacher); his wife Marguerite Beason; his daughter Linda Wehr; his siblings, Harold Wehr, Edward Wehr, Raymond Wehr, Eugene Wehr, Marie Wehr, Deloris Wehr, Dorothy Wehr, Virginia Wehr and Kathleen Wehr; and his grandson James Matthew Wehr.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Donnie Bond of Tipton, IA and Dennis Bond (Shari) of Wayland, IA; and his brothers, Marion Wehr of Keota, IA and Lester Wehr (Barbara) of Keota, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
