She is survived by: her children, Joe Giardino (Maggie) of Catlett, Virginia, Teri Roth (Mike) of Washington, Iowa, Peg Ayan (Skip) of Maui, Hawaii, Raeann Wyngarden (Don) of Grimes, Iowa, Pat Folkema (Denny) of Le Mars, Iowa, Jim Giardino (Kim) of Ankeny, Iowa, Kristen Hilling (Paul), Paula Greiner (Eric "Amos") of Keota, Iowa, Rick Giardino (Amy) of Kirkwood, Missouri and Greg Giardino (Megan) of Washington, Iowa. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
