He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blodgett and Marilyn Blodgett (Jones); his grandparents, Ezra, Mary Jones, Melvin and Marjorie Bishop; and his niece Emily Nash.
He is survived by: his wife Michelle WalterBlodgett of Washington, Iowa; his son Aaron Blodgett of Iowa City, Iowa; his grandchildren, Elyse and Talon Blodgett of Washington, Iowa; and his siblings, Lori Orris (Kevin) of Washington, Iowa, Lonna Blodgett of Brighton, Iowa, Jeff Blodgett (Michael) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Michael Hesseltine (Jacque) of Brighton, Iowa. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or the Washington County Hospital Foundation.
