She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Gingerich and Sephronia Gingerich (Nayadley); her husband Vernie W. Lowry; and her siblings, James (Carol), Alfred "Ole" Gingerich, Loren (Betty), Marvin Boone (Peg) and Janet Cronbaugh.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Lowry Zeman (Larry) of Culpeper, VA; her grandson Brandon L. Zeman (Anissa) of Alexandria, VA; and her sister Carol Jones of Washington. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for Relay for Life and the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center.
