He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Canby and Florence Canby; his wife Grace; and his son William. He is survived by: his daughter Susan (Joe); his daughter-in-law Valerie (Paul); his former wife Mary Jane; his grandchildren, Christina (Jim), Mary (Donny), Nick (Annie), Victoria, Andrea, Joe and Christian; and his siblings, Letitia, Marquis and Jim (Elaine). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
