She was predeceased by: her mother Debbie Jones (Yohe); her grandparents, Jeanette Dotson, Robert, Ruth Yohe, Charles, Margery Jones, Bill and Celia Podaril; and her brother John Scott Dotson.
She is survived by: her father John Dotson; her sons, Coy Peters and Crew Peters; her grandfather Jack Dotson of Wapello; her siblings, Staci Orr (Dave) of Muscatine, Max Dotson (Kelly) of Richland, Andrew Jones (Mary) of Washington and Emily Jones of Iowa City; her stepsiblings, Joshua Sands (Christi) of Columbus Junction, Jake Sands (Katie) of Washington and Anna Carpenter (Tony) of Wilton; and her nieces and nephews, Mallory, Carson (Camryn Orr), Landon (Kaylee Jones) and Leila Dotson. She is also survived by nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins and Derek Peters the boy's father.
A memorial has been established in Sarah's name in order to set up an education fund for her children.
