Ruth Ann Eastland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Eastland of Wapello, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holst and Gladys Holst (Lamb); her husband Fred D. Eastland; her sisters, Delores Kester and Barbara Lant; her sons, Kirk and Mark Jones; and her grandson Zachary Jones.
She is survived by: her former husband E. Kenneth Jones; her daughters, Sheila Eversmeyer (Monte) of Wapello and Shelly Holsteen (Darren) of Wapello; her stepsons, Doug Eastland (Celina) of Waco and Brian Eastland (Kori) of Shreveport, Louisiana; and her sister Joan Hogberg of Burlington. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Southeast Iowa Hospice in memory of Ruth.
