He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim P. Banks and Lena Hill Banks; and his siblings, Nannie Will Reynolds, Altha Lee Lusk, S. P. Banks, Mary Sue Teague, Fred Banks and Nettie Ruth Sain.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Banks; and his sister-in-law Betty Banks of Forest Park, Georgia. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
