She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Burkett and Mildred Burkett (Oard); her spouse Francis Franklin Shepard; and her siblings, Wendle, Glenn, Frank and Darlene.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Shepard (Ann) of Wapello and Carolyn Louise Shepard of Nobleville Indiana. She is also survived by two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
