Mildred Huston Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Huston of Wapello, Iowa, born in Hillsdale, New York, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Race and Viola Race (Minkler); her former husband John Hartsock; her husband Harold Huston; and her brothers, Floyd and Howard Race.

She is survived by: her sons, Terry Hartsock (Brenda) of Houma and Randy Hartsock of Solon; her grandchildren, Eric Hartsock, Erin Beattie and Beau Hartsock; her great grandchild Drake Beattie; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kerr of Wapello. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Great River Hospice House or the Wapello Rescue Unit.
