Marie Stalkfleet Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2019, at the age of 94, Marie Stalkfleet (Wapello, Iowa), born in Muscatine, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward and Hazel Herrick Blanchard; and her son Donald. She is survived by: her husband Arthur F. Stalkfleet; her friends, Linda Pretz Mitchell of Muscatine, Patricia Messner (Wayne), Frank Stalkfleet (Angie) of Wapello, Fonda Velez (Leon) of West and Gerald Stalkfleet of Columbus Junction; and her grandchildren, Tamara Pretz, Michael Pretz, Jeannette Corrow, Sara Messner, Stefanie Butler, Melissa Schafer, Brandi Hathaway, Kalyn Hathaway, Brandon Stalkfleet and Jeremy Stalkfleet. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, Alzheimer's Association Iowa Chapter, and Simpson Memorial Home.
