Linda Whitington Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Linda Whitington of Wapello, Iowa, born in Danville, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Wolfe and Evelyn Wolfe (Pierce); her husband Gary "Tiny" Whitington; her son-in-law Michael Lihs; her great grandchildren, Valerie and Konner Lihs; and her siblings, Don Wolfe, Dixie Welch and Delores Shields.

She is survived by: her children, Jim Whitington (Jenny) of Oakwood, John Whitington (Audra) of Eagle Lake, Lee Ann Swanson (Kirk) of Wapello and Shannon Williams (David) of Alton; her grandchildren, Jessie Whitington, Cory Whitington (Krista), Hannah Zellmer (Alex), Jacob Whitington, Noah Whitington, Chris Lihs (Steph), Chad Lihs (Lisa), Mary Wright (Curtis), Cody Swanson, Kayla Mathews (Karl), Gary Williams (Gailene) and Tiffany Campbell (Travis); and her siblings, Dean Wolfe (Sue) of Danville and Nina Keys (David) of Hume. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the Ronald McDonald House in Linda's name.
