With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kirk Bradley Heater of Wapello, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Heater and Sally Heater (Nott); and his pet Molly. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Heater of Wapello; his children, Stephanie Bird (Eric) of Logansport and Jaye Heater (Katy) of Marion; and his siblings, Kim Hewitt and Cindy Bockes. He is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for future projects at the L.J. Thompson Park (South End Park) in Wapello in Kirk's memory.
