He was loved and cherished by many people including: his cousin Ron; his parents, Mary Ellen of Wapello and Stanley Walgren; his daughters, Abbey, Abigail Walgren of Morning Sun and Lacey Newsom (Anthony) of Oakville; his brothers, Tom (Shawn) of Muscatine and Tim (Michelle) of Quincy, IL; his grandchildren, AJ, Jaxon, Grace and Tailinn Newsom; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan Meyer (Mark), Alexandra Rauenbuehler (Luke), Ryan Walgren (Lauren) and Mitchell Walgren.
A memorial has been established for the Wapello Community Ambulance.
