He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Henry and Alice May Hupp Samuels; and his brothers, Keith, Charles and Lester Samuels.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Fletcher; his daughter Debra Smith (Ralph) of Burlington; and his siblings, Doris Samuels MacEachern of Wapello and Larry Samuels of Sigourney, Iowa. He is also survived by cousins; nephews; nieces; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
