Jack Rice Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Rice of Wapello, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on May 18, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Rice; and his aunts and uncles, Kermit Rice, John Rice, Jr., Evelyn Harris and Annabelle Hetz.

He is survived by: his sister Joyce Wagner; his niece Christine; his nephew Stephen; and his aunt Judy Rice. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous cousins.

A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Jack to help cover expenses.

We would ride our Shetland pony, Duke, and went on many adventures and climbed many trees while exploring the fields, woods and streams there. May he rest in peace and suffer no more.
