He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hardin and Viola Hardin (Aberle); his wife June Wilson; his grandson Matt Hardin; and his brothers, Dean, Ray and Kenny Hardin.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Hardin (Kris) of Iowa City, Kevin Hardin (Patty) of Wapello, Gordon Hardin (Lisa) of Wapello and Don Hardin (Annette) of Wapello; and his sisters, Sandra Whitlow of Raytown and Lynn Hardin (Teresa) of Middletown. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established in Don's name.
