She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Robertson and Mildred Robertson (Cockayne); her spouse Dale Odas Thomas; her daughter-in-law Beth Thomas; her siblings, Carolyn Hartman and Gary Dean Robertson; and her aunt Evelyn Anderson.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Malone (Jerry) of Morning Sun, Tony Thomas (Annette) of Wapello and Joni Massner (Davey) of Mediapolis; and her grandchildren, Toni McLaughlin (Boe), Johnny Smith (Roxanne), Molly Buffington (Ryan), Stacey Buffington (Ross), Brenna Wonders (Aaron), Cody Malone, Cally Schrader (Dylan), Cher Talbott (Lance), Melodee Whaley and Tisha Molle (Kohle Bagwell). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
