She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward and Lois Louise Maddux (Schneider); her husband Robert Staats; her stepsister Joanne Hartman; her stepson Scott Keltner; her daughter-in-law Susie Staats; and her grandson Barry Staats (Corwin "Rock" Williams).
She is survived by: her former spouse Job Keltner, Jr.; her children, Rodney Staats (Julie) of Columbus Jct, Todd Staats of Pattaya City, Thailand and Kelly Staats Massner of Mediapolis; her stepchildren, Denise Johnson (Greg) of Burlington, Michelle Stone (Ken) of Wapello and Shane Keltner (Brenda) of New London; her siblings, Beverly Stephens of Wapello, Judy Eggart of Bozeman, MT and Dennis Maddux-Phillips (Rusty) of Kansas City; and her pet Macy. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; 10 step-great grandchildren.
