He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Manuel Ponce and Esther Jilpas; and his cousin Jessie Jilpas. He is survived by: his parents, Alejandro Ponce Sr. and Jessica Ponce (Campbell) of Wapello; his pet Ruby; his siblings, Estanislado "Tiny" Tamez (Ana) of Moline, John Paul Tamez (Beth) of Bismarck, Troy Tamez (Jessica) of Wapello, Junior Ponce of Wapello and Azpen Ponce of Wapello; his grandmother Brigida Ponce-Raya (Brianna Boore) of Mexico; and his friends, Timo Caro, Rogan Pforts and Mireya Salas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Alejandro.
