He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lainson and Anna Lainson (Wheeler); and his siblings, Harry, George and Anna Margaret McPartland.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Thornton Andrews; and his children, Suzanne Jensen (Carroll), Fred III (Trudy) and Craig (Stephanie). He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
