She is survived by: her former spouse Frederich Janssen (Fritz); her daughter Kathryn Rose Janssen of Wall Lake, IA; and her grandchildren, Khatijah Rae Amir Hakim, Isa Majid Amir Hakim and Azri Shaqir Amir Hakim.
