He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Olerich and Marie Olerich (Schulte); his brother Raymond Olerich; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Berg. He is survived by: his wife Diane Berg of Wall Lake, IA; his children, Cheryl Smith (Galen) of Carroll, IA, David Olerich (Sherry Magee) of LeGrand, IA, Patti Vlasin (Pat) of Grant, NE and Janet Snyder (Danny) of Odebolt, IA; his grandchildren, Jesse Smith (Becky), Kenzie Smith, McKayla Aschinger (Brandon), Jeni Struck (Matt), Megan Dooley (Bryce) and Nick Snyder; his great grandchildren, Tyson Smith, Charlie, Emerson Aschinger, Kennedi, Evan Struck, Parker and Kendal Dooley; his siblings, Roger Olerich and Rita Maddux; his sister-in-law Lois Olerich; his brother Darrell; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Berg and Dennis Berg. He is also survived by his kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren.
