She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Beese and Viola Beese (Rudnick); and her stepfather Dick Brown. She is survived by: her husband Dennis Paysen of Wall Lake, IA; her son Marvin Paysen (Myra) of Littleton, CO; her grandson Clayton Paysen of Pittsburg, PA; and her sister Carolyn Bahr.
