She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dittmer and Alma Dittmer (Miller); her husband Elmer Junior Skarin; and her siblings, Robert, Howard Dittmer, Arlene Mohn, Lois Boldra and Marie Sundene.
She is survived by: her children, Cheri Jespersen (David) of East Lansing, MI, Karen Miller (Bruce) of Mason City, IA, Steve Skarin (Sherri) of Ida Grove, IA and Lynn Skarin (Amy) of Mitchellville, IA; and her sister Janet Nielsen of Ida Grove, IA. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
